Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) Development Company has recently implemented a virtualized security solution from Check Point to guard its network and workstations from rising threats in the cyberspace.
QTSC is the largest IT park in Vietnam with over 3,000 occupants covering 430,000 square meters, and is part of the Vietnamese government plan to develop their nation's software development.
The business challenges of QTSC was to provide security for a growing population, manage ever-increasing threats without administrative burden, and upgrade its infrastructure to a scalable, sophisticated security solution.
Check Point's Virtualized Security (VSX) architecture was chosen, running on a server which provides scalability to secure and service QTSC's growing pool of customers. The solution provides a centralized and simplified management to support multiple firewalls with minimum IT resources. The Check Point solutions used are: VPN-1 VSX, VPN-1 UTM, IAS Integrated Appliance, and Provider-1.
