In its bid to streamline its recruitment process and, in effect, acquire the best possible talents in the market, Hong Kong-based commercial bank CITIC Bank International recently deployed Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Recruiting Solution in the entire organization.
PeopleSoft Recruiting Solution is a key application software platform that addresses end-to-end human resources responsibilities for global organizations. In addition to the integrated talent management, workforce management and workforce service delivery, the latest version includes embedded Web 2.0 capabilities and new industry-specific enhancements.
The application software solution provides intelligent recruiting and career search tools for candidates, recruiters, and managers. It features intuitive, easy to use pages that allow employees and external candidates to search, view, and apply for jobs online. With built-in applicant tracking, recruiters and managers can focus on the most important outcome – identifying and hiring talent quickly.
CITIC Bank International recruits the best talents in the market and offers top-quality training and enriching career opportunities for qualified candidates. The new solution will offer improved advantages including enhancing first impressions and providing a timely, efficient way for the bank to handle the job applications it receives.
The new e-Recruitment platform includes a portal on the Bank’s Website containing a candidate gateway. Candidates can upload their resumes on the Careers Home page and the information is automatically added to the Bank’s HR system supported by the PeopleSoft Recruiting Solution. This creates a virtual talent pool to facilitate future talent acquisition and match candidates with job openings.
The CITIC Bank International’s e-Recruitment platform implementation is the first phase of the PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) that began when the bank decided to switch from its previous SAP HR system. The initial phase of the implementation was completed in September 2010 in Hong Kong, and Mainland China. Apart from the Recruitment Solution, the major HCM modules currently selected by the Bank include Core HR, Global Payroll, Absence Management, Enterprise Learning Management, and Employee/Manager Self Service.
The project was carried out by KEDA Limited, a Gold Level Partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) which provides full application lifecycle management, from implementation to ongoing support for PeopleSoft application software solutions and complementary applications.
