The Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange will soon be powered by Horizon Software, giving it market connectivity and trading solutions that will allow it to expand meet it its members’ requirements.
HKMEx announced on April 27, 2011 that it has received authorisation from the Securities and Futures Commission to operate as an automated trading services (“ATS”) provider. Trading officially began on May 18, 2011.
HKMEx has been collaborating closely with Horizon Software to develop new gateways and provide a robust trading platform.
